Get your ticket: investigations in conversation + women in media drinks
Join us on 20th November in London
Here are the details of our next event and how to get tickets.
We hope to see lots of you there for a brilliant evening.
Join us for a discussion by senior investigations reporter at openDemocracy, Sian Norris, and the BBC’s first ever gender and identity correspondent, Megha Mohan, as they go behind the scenes on some of Sian’s biggest stories.
Sian’s reporting has taken her undercover in the anti-abortion and far right movements, and into archives where she uncovered lost evidence of systemic failings. In conversation with Megha, she will share how she manages research and storytelling to bring dark secrets into the light, and how you can apply those skills in your reporting.
The conversation will be followed by audience questions, and then a chance to chat over drinks.
Whatever your role and level of experience, expect to come away ideas that you can bring to your own journalism - and some eye-opening stories about going undercover with extremists.
